 
From advising and coaching executives to building and sustaining high performance teams, Dr. Tom Foust has been an “Executive Coach,” “Life Coach” and “Peak Performance Coach” long before they were popular trends or phrases. His core competencies are in leadership development, organizational turnaround and peak performance.
For over 30 years Dr. Foust has served as an advisor to men and women around the world. His client list spans the range from helping CEOs and Presidents to professional and Olympic athletes, to new business startup entrepreneurs, to high school athletes, to adults and students who want to find a solution to a particular issue in their life or improve the quality of their lives.
In addition to his varied degrees, experiences, training and accomplishments he is also a Certified Executive Coach (in progress) with College of Executive Coaching, a member of the International Federation of Coaching (IFC). Tom is a certified consultant and coach in Hewlett-Packard PDI 360 Profilor Feedback program for their leading managers.
Tom has worked with executives to coach them one-on-one and has also put together strategies and programs for entire teams of executives that fit within the mission, vision and values of the client’s organization.
Coaching is not therapy. SDG does not engage in the practice of psychotherapy with clients. If issues arise that are best dealt with in a therapeutic context, referrals will be made to an appropriately trained licensed therapist. Generally therapy is about healing wounds from the past; executive and peak performance coaching are about setting and meeting goals for the future.
Tom also works with athletes at all levels from high school to Olympic and professional to assist them in achieving their individual peak performance.
Through the utilization of assessments, questionnaires and structured meetings (phone calls or in person), strategies are created to overcome blocks to success and appropriate action steps are developed to help move toward identified goals created within the vision and values of the individual or organization.
