Dr. Tom Foust has over 25 years of experience as a successful corporate executive, business consultant and executive coach.  He is the founder of SDG International and has helped launch several other companies. For the last 10 years Tom has also worked with USA Rock Bit, purchasing and selling oil drill bits around the world.

As President and CEO of SDG International, Tom has integrated his academic and professional experiences and has become a highly sought-after executive and peak performance coach, high performance team developer, business consultant and public speaker.  Tom specializes in leadership development and performance, in the training and implementation of high performance teams, and in creating customized organizational approaches for cutting edge companies and successful executives.  SDG International has served many noteworthy clients including Halliburton, Baker Hughes-Christensen, Frito-Lay, Eli Lilly and Company, and Royal Sun Alliance.

Tom is an executive and peak performance coach for CEOs and Presidents from large to small businesses, professional and Olympic athletes, entrepreneurs, and adults and students striving to better themselves.  He is a certified consultant and coach for Hewlett-Packard’s PDI 360 Profilor Feedback program for training and leading managers and is also a Certified Executive Coach (in process) through the College of Executive Coaching, member of the International Federation of Coaching.

Previously Tom served as Vice President of Insight2, a prominent company in product and service innovation.  Tom led client teams through the innovation, ideation and product development processes, facilitated focus groups and training seminars, and composed executive summaries and briefings.  Tom served clients by conducting market research, identifying unmet, unspoken consumer needs and converting those needs into business strategies with profitable results.  Tom has worked with companies such as Ames True Temper, Garant, Oster, PetSmart, Jarden, Char-Broil, Indianapolis Zoo and others. He has several patents from working with these and other companies.

Consulting and speaking engagements have taken Tom to hundreds of locations around the world including Asia, Europe and North America.

Dr. Foust holds a PhD from the prestigious University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England.   He received his Masters of Divinity in History from the Emmanuel School of Religion, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Anderson University. 

For fourteen years Tom served with CMF International training men and women in leadership in non-profit organizations.  During that time he traveled, studied and lectured throughout Europe.  He was an Honorary Professor at the University of Birmingham and lectured at Oxford University as well as several universities in the United States.  He has been the key-note speaker at countless engagements in a variety of venues throughout the world.  Tom currently holds an Associate Faculty Member position at IUPUI in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In addition to his achievements in public speaking, Tom is also an accomplished writer.  He has co-authored two books, published several articles for various professional journals and has given numerous presentations on his publications.
